Presented by Bruce Bondy of Bondy Studio, Northbrook IL. Bruce is an award winning architectural illustrator with over 30 years of experience. He teaches workshops to design professionals around the US and to the Taliesin
Fellowship students.

Friday Session (12:30-4:30pm):  Drawing basics; Introduction to comparative and analytical drawing skills.
Saturday Session (8:30-12:30pm): Imaginative drawing, basic perspective and quick sketch drawing.

This is a hands on workshop. Students will receive instruction and demonstration of techniques, followed by time spent drawing with individual coaching and feedback from the instructor.

Objectives:
• Develop the skill of seeing, measuring, and comparing your drawing to a subject being drawn from ‘life’ or reference image
• Improve your technique to produce 3-dimensional form through the use of vertical lines, parallel lines, and improve your ability to visually measure
• Produce a quick sketch without becoming bogged down in extraneous detail
• Draw landscape elements at various scales. Use of contour, negative shapes, and contrast.  

Materials: Favorite pens, pencils (non-mechanical), roll of trace (optional), straight edge (drawing triangle or ruler).
